The Center for Eating Disorders' outreach staff are available to provide on-site Love Your Tree workshops for students, youth organizations, and college campuses in and around Maryland.

Love Your Tree workshops include an educational overview of body image and media literacy topics.  Participants will learn about the diversity of beauty and self-acceptance while practicing critical reviews of popular media images and marketed beauty ideals. Participants will be guided along in the poster-making process as they explore the Love Your Tree theme and develop individualized concepts to help promote body diversity and positive body image through their art.

Workshops are available to middle school, high school and college-aged participants.

Love Your Tree workshops are conducted between July and December each year.  If you’d like to schedule a workshop at your school or campus, please contact Kate Clemmer, Outreach Coordinator, at (410) 427-3886 or kclemmer@sheppardpratt.org.
