Weekly Hope is a Facebook Live event and interview hosted by Kirsten Haglund (pictured right) of Eating Disorder Hope. It is open to individuals at all stage of the eating disorder recovery process as well as support people, community members and treatment professionals

Irene Rovira

Irene Rovira, Ph.D.
Dr. Rovira is a licensed clinical psychologist who currently provides individual, group, and family treatment for eating disorders at The Center for Eating Disorders (CED) at Sheppard Pratt in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Rovira received an M.A. in developmental psychology from Teacher’s College at Columbia University and a Ph.D. in the combined Clinical/School Psychology program from Hofstra University, New York. Prior to joining the CED staff in 2006, Dr. Rovira specialized in the assessment and treatment of trauma in children and adolescents and provided outpatient and inpatient psychotherapy for people of all ages with a variety of psychiatric disorders including substance use, PTSD, Schizophrenia, Psychotic Disorders, and Bipolar Disorder.

Free Weekly Support Group

Join us each week from 7:00 to 8:30 PM for a recovery-focused support group open to anyone struggling with any type of eating disorder as well as friends, family and support people. This group is FREE and facilitated by a licensed clinician.
