Connecting BODY + MIND + SPIRIT featuring Emme
National Eating Disorders Awareness Week 2013
2013 NEDAWeek KICK-OFF event featuring EMME...
Emme is a supermodel, television personality, author, lecturer, creative director, and nationally recognized spokesperson for positive body image and self esteem. As an Ambassador for the National Eating Disorders Association, she is a vocal
advocate for people of all ages to live a healthy lifestyle while simultaneously combating societal and peer pressure to be something other than what comes naturally. On February 24th, Emme will speak at this special NEDAWeek event in Baltimore to promote personal healing, positive body image, self-acceptance and eating disorder prevention.
In her talk, Connecting Body + Mind + Spirit, Emme will delve into maintaining a gratitude driven day to-to-day existence to help shift out of fear, self loathing and poor self esteem. She'll also talk about leaning on the positives and faking-it-till-you-make-it to help accomplish goals by living in the present moment. Reflecting on her own experiences, Emme will share real life strategies and resources to help others create meaninful and positive connections with their bodies. Download the Event Flyer (pdf)

This FREE community presention is open to anyone interested in learning more about self-acceptance, mindfulness and positive body image as well as those individuals, such as parents, educators, friends and spouses, who are supporting loved ones with those goals.
